The end of our project marked by visits to the Romanian Parliament, the U.S. Ambassador's house in Bucharest and the Cotroceni Palace made a huge impression on me.

At the Parliament I was impressed with the greatness of the construction, the organization of the Parliament and the fact that we presented our projects to the deputies.
I felt like I was a member of the Romanian Parliament for one day. At Mr. Taplin's place I was impressed with the Ambassador's warmth and diplomacy, the affectionate welcome and hospitality.

I was happy to see that the Americans like Romanian cabbage rolls.
For a couple of hours I felt like I was part of the Ambassador'ls family. It was like I belonged there. Who knows, maybe someday I will become a diplomat.

At the Cotroceni Palace, I was stunned by the beauty of the interior garden, by the Museum's historical wealth and especially by the fact that I attended the reception held by the Romanian President for the Europe Day celebration.
I can hardly believe that me and my classmates had the opportunity to attend this manifestation! Maybe someday I will work at the Palace as a counsellor or political analyst.

I felt sorry that we had to leave so soon. The day was to short! I would like to thank the organizers!
